The 2011 event put local businesses in touch with local environmental suppliers and attracted over 400 delegates and 60 exhibitors, with over 95% of exhibitors saying that the event had delivered new sales leads for them – and no wonder, as delegates included national companies like the Cooperative, Wilmott Dixon, Yorkshire Water, Provi-dent Financial, local universities such as Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield, Local Authorities including Calderdale, Bradford, Kirklees, Wakefield and Leeds and local companies from farms to manufacturers, local printers to com-munication companies.
For 2012 we have brought on board new event partners Business in the Community (BITC) and we will be expanding our seminar program. We’ll keep our focus on real world issues and case stud-ies, and be covering waste, energy, greener building and leader-ship. The 2012 event will also feature an even wider array of ex-hibitors from local waste, lighting, high efficiency motor, renewable energy, compressed air, heating, heat recovery, pollution preven-tion, and many other local companies who can help you reduce your environmental impacts and save money.
The free seminar program will be announced early in 2012, but it will also include a green buildings strand in 2012, as well as the energy, waste and renewable energy themes from this year with first-come, first-served book-ing availability.
