The most recent projects that have benefited from GBN assistance under Landfill Communities funding are:

• Schemes to restore a church and playground within walking distance of the GBN in Sowerby Bridge.

• A community kitchen in Todmorden.

• Friends of Nutclough Wood, Hebden Bridge.

• The Boothtown Partnership community rooms.

• All Saints High School, Sheffield: community aspects of Specialist Sports College status.

• A major project to clean up fly tipping at Todmorden Moor. Funding from WREN enabled Todmorden Moor Restoration Trust to clean up this local moorland.
